Job Description

The Kitchen Hand supports the kitchen team with food preparation, washing dishes, cleaning equipment, disposing of waste and maintaining hygienic, organised work areas. The role may also involve receiving and storing deliveries, assisting chefs during busy service periods and following food-safety procedures. Candidates are expected to be reliable, physically fit, well presented and comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment. Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful but may not be essential. A positive attitude, teamwork, attention to cleanliness, willingness to learn and availability for rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, are important requirements.
