Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it offers a coastal lifestyle with beaches, waterfront resorts, and vibrant cities. Hospitality, tourism, restaurants, aviation, retail, and events provide regular employment opportunities, especially in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah. UAE culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international community; modest dress, courtesy, and respect for Islamic customs are important. Lifestyle is modern and convenient, with excellent transport, shopping, healthcare, and dining, although rent and summer temperatures can be high. For overseas hires, the employer normally arranges a work permit and residence visa after arrival. Employees typically complete medical tests, Emirates ID registration, and other immigration formalities. Never work on a tourist visa. Confirm salary, accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, leave, probation, and recruitment fees in writing before relocating.
