Telephone Operator (Service Centre)

Job Description

The Telephone Operator (Service Centre) handles incoming and internal calls, guest requests, inquiries, wake-up calls and messages, while ensuring prompt and courteous communication. Requirements typically include hospitality or customer-service experience, good spoken and written English, clear telephone etiquette, basic computer skills and the ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage. The successful candidate is expected to remain calm under pressure, protect guest confidentiality, record requests accurately, coordinate with other departments and deliver Shangri-La’s standards of warm, efficient service.
