Job Description

The Storekeeper manages the receipt, storage, organisation and issue of food, beverages, operating supplies and other hotel materials. Requirements typically include previous experience in hotel stores, warehousing or inventory control, basic computer and stock-recording skills, good numeracy, and the ability to check deliveries accurately. The successful candidate should be organised, physically fit, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities include maintaining stock levels, rotating products by expiry date, conducting inventory counts, following food-safety and workplace procedures, and coordinating with kitchen, purchasing and other departments. Attention to detail, teamwork, honesty and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays are expected.
