The Floor Supervisor supports the daily operation of the restaurant or dining outlet, ensuring smooth service, attractive presentation and high guest satisfaction. Requirements typically include previous experience in hotel or restaurant operations, strong communication skills, good knowledge of food and beverage service, and the ability to supervise a team during busy periods. The successful candidate is expected to lead by example, coordinate seating and service, handle guest requests or complaints professionally, maintain hygiene and service standards, and assist with staff training. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is usually required. A positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
