Job Description

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, checking, storing and issuing food, beverages, operating supplies and other hotel materials. Requirements typically include relevant warehouse, inventory or hotel experience, good numerical and organisational skills, basic computer knowledge and the ability to maintain accurate records. The candidate should be physically fit, detail-oriented and comfortable handling deliveries, stock rotation and regular inventory counts. Familiarity with inventory systems, food-safety practices and proper storage procedures is advantageous. The role requires reliability, teamwork and effective communication with purchasing, kitchen, food and beverage, housekeeping and other operational departments. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays may be expected.
