Popular island destinations include Langkawi, Penang, Tioman, Redang, Perhentian, and parts of Sabah, although major corporate jobs are concentrated in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor, and Kota Kinabalu. The culture is multicultural, with Malay, Chinese, Indian, and indigenous influences; English is widely used in business and hospitality.
