Reservations Associate

Job Description

The Reservations Associate supports hotel reservations by handling guest enquiries, creating and modifying bookings, explaining room types, rates, packages, and policies, and ensuring accurate information is recorded in the reservation system. The role typically requires strong English communication skills, customer-service experience, good computer literacy, and excellent attention to detail. Previous hotel reservations, front-office, or call-centre experience is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be professional, patient, commercially aware, and confident when recommending suitable room options. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is normally required. The associate should also coordinate effectively with Front Office, Revenue, Sales, and other hotel departments while maintaining Shangri-La’s service standards and protecting guest and payment information.
