Front Office Officer

Job Description

The Front Office Officer supports smooth hotel operations by handling check-in and check-out, room assignments, guest enquiries, billing, telephone calls and service requests. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism or a related discipline, together with customer-service experience, preferably in a luxury hotel. Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese are generally expected; Mandarin is an advantage. The successful candidate should be professional, attentive, well presented and comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays. They are expected to remain calm under pressure, protect guest privacy, resolve problems courteously and consistently deliver Shangri-La’s service standards.
