Job Description

The Head Baker leads the bakery and pastry production team, overseeing breads, pastries, desserts, and related menu items to Shangri-La’s quality standards. Requirements typically include professional culinary or bakery training, several years of experience in a hotel, resort, or high-volume bakery, strong knowledge of ingredients, production techniques, food safety, hygiene, costing, and inventory control. The successful candidate should be creative, organised, commercially aware, and confident supervising and developing colleagues.
