Job Description

The Cook II (Pastry) supports the pastry kitchen by preparing breads, cakes, desserts, and other baked products according to Shangri-La’s recipes and quality standards. Candidates should have pastry or professional culinary training and relevant experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery environment. The role requires sound knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient handling, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen equipment. The successful candidate is expected to work neatly and efficiently, follow production schedules, maintain consistent presentation and portion control, and cooperate well with the culinary team. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is normally required, together with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
