Job Description

The Public Area Supervisor oversees cleanliness and presentation of hotel lobbies, corridors, restaurants, washrooms, lifts and other shared facilities. Responsibilities include assigning duties, inspecting standards, coordinating cleaning schedules, monitoring supplies, responding to guest requests and supporting hygiene and safety procedures. Candidates typically need previous hotel housekeeping or public-area experience, supervisory ability, good communication skills and strong attention to detail. Luxury-hotel experience is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to be reliable, physically fit, service-oriented and capable of working shifts, weekends and public holidays. Knowledge of English and Cantonese or Mandarin may be beneficial in Hong Kong.
