Job Description

The Revenue Optimization Manager is responsible for maximising hotel revenue through demand forecasting, pricing, inventory control, market analysis and performance reporting. Candidates typically need a degree in hospitality, business, finance or a related field, together with several years of hotel revenue management experience. Strong knowledge of revenue systems, distribution channels, forecasting techniques and Excel is expected. The successful candidate should be commercially minded, analytical and comfortable interpreting market and competitor data. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills are important, as the role works closely with sales, reservations, marketing and hotel operations. Experience with major hotel technology platforms and a strong understanding of Malaysia’s hospitality market would be advantageous.
