Destination Guide

Australia offers opportunities in logistics, freight, warehousing, transport, healthcare, construction, hospitality, agriculture, technology and professional services. Major employment centres include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and regional hubs near airports and distribution centres. Australian workplaces generally value punctuality, direct communication, safety, fairness and a practical work-life balance. Lifestyle varies from busy city living to relaxed coastal or regional communities, with generally high living costs, especially for housing in Sydney and Melbourne. Public transport is strong in larger cities, while a car is often useful outside them. Foreign workers need a suitable visa, such as an employer-sponsored visa, skilled visa, working holiday visa or student visa with work rights. Check current eligibility, occupation lists and conditions through the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Plan for health insurance, accommodation, tax registration and recognition of any equipment licences before relocating.
