Job Description

The Equipment Operative supports the safe and efficient movement of freight by operating, loading, unloading and maintaining material-handling equipment and related facilities. Typical requirements include physical fitness, the ability to lift and move packages, safe work practices, reliable attendance, attention to detail and willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings or weekends. A forklift or equipment licence may be required or preferred, depending on the site. Candidates are expected to follow FedEx procedures, meet productivity and quality standards, work cooperatively with colleagues and comply with health, safety and security requirements.
