Job Description

This role supports biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations at Astellas’ Toyama Technology Center. Typical requirements include a degree or technical background in pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field; experience in biopharmaceutical production, process operations, GMP manufacturing, or technology transfer; and the ability to prepare and review manufacturing documentation. Japanese communication skills are likely important, with English useful for collaboration across global teams. The successful candidate is expected to work safely, follow GMP and quality procedures, investigate production issues, support continuous improvement, and coordinate effectively with quality, engineering, development, and supply functions.
