Job Description

The Retail Consultant role involves welcoming customers, understanding their communication and technology needs, and recommending suitable Optus products, services and plans. The position requires strong customer service and sales skills, confident communication, basic digital and technology knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment. Previous retail, telecommunications or consultative sales experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are also important. The successful candidate is expected to achieve sales and service targets, create an engaging customer experience, maintain accurate product knowledge, process transactions correctly, and contribute positively to the store team. Weekend and public-holiday availability may be required.
