Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality, tourism, diving, wellness, food and beverage, and recreation jobs across islands such as Luzon, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, and Mindanao. Resort work is concentrated in destinations including Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Palawan, and Siargao, while Manila provides broader corporate and hotel opportunities. Filipino culture is welcoming, family-oriented, and strongly influenced by local traditions, Christianity, and diverse regional communities; English is widely used in workplaces. Island living can offer beaches, outdoor activities, warm weather, and a relaxed social atmosphere, but transport, healthcare access, internet reliability, and living costs vary considerably by location. Foreign applicants normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa, commonly arranged with assistance from the company. Candidates should confirm salary, accommodation, meals, insurance, tax, contract length, and relocation support before accepting an offer. Local hires should verify government employment requirements and documentation.
