Job Description

The Cook II (Pastry) supports the pastry kitchen by preparing breads, cakes, desserts, and other baked products according to Shangri-La’s recipes and quality standards. Candidates generally need relevant culinary or pastry training and previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery environment. The role requires knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient handling, food hygiene, portion control, and kitchen safety. The successful candidate should be able to follow recipes accurately, maintain consistent presentation and quality, work efficiently during busy service periods, and cooperate with chefs and colleagues. Flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays is expected.
