Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and facilities at Shangri-La Hong Kong. Requirements typically include relevant security or hospitality experience, good physical fitness, strong observation skills, integrity, and the ability to remain calm during emergencies. Candidates should communicate clearly in English; Cantonese and additional languages are advantageous. Duties may include patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, emergency response, crowd management and assisting guests with safety concerns. The role requires shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays. The successful candidate is expected to be professional, discreet, service-oriented and familiar with local security procedures, fire safety standards and workplace regulations.
