Job Description

The Admin Assistant supports the Chinese Banquet Kitchen with clerical and administrative work, including preparing documents, maintaining records, coordinating schedules, handling reports, and communicating with kitchen and hotel departments. Candidates are generally expected to have administrative experience, good organisation, attention to detail, and strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. Destination Guide

Singapore is a compact, highly developed island city with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, food and beverage, finance, technology, healthcare, and logistics. Its culture is multicultural, with Chinese, Malay, Indian, and international influences, and English is widely used at work. The lifestyle is safe, efficient, and convenient, with excellent public transport, modern shopping areas, diverse restaurants, and many green spaces. Housing can be expensive, especially near central districts, so newcomers often compare shared accommodation and areas connected by MRT. Foreign employees generally need an employer-sponsored work pass, such as an Employment Pass, S Pass, or Work Permit, depending on qualifications, salary, and occupation. Employers typically handle the application. Before relocating, candidates should confirm pass eligibility, contract terms, medical requirements, accommodation costs, and local employment conditions.
