Company Info

Shangri-La Group is a leading luxury hospitality company headquartered in Hong Kong, operating hotels, resorts and related businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and other international markets. Its properties are known for warm Asian hospitality, high service standards and a strong focus on guest experience. Shangri-La hotels commonly offer restaurants, bars, meeting facilities, wellness services and extensive business or leisure amenities. The group places emphasis on service training, cultural awareness, teamwork and career development. The Hung Tong position is likely based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong, a prominent luxury hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui with established Cantonese dining operations. Destination Guide

Hong Kong is a compact, energetic destination combining international business, dense urban life, traditional Chinese culture and easy access to beaches, hiking trails and outlying islands. Hospitality opportunities are available in luxury hotels, restaurants, clubs, catering, tourism and events, with Cantonese, English and Mandarin useful in customer-facing roles. Life is fast-paced and accommodation can be expensive, particularly near Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and other commercial districts; many employees live in Kowloon or the New Territories and commute by reliable public transport. The city offers excellent dining, shopping, nightlife and outdoor activities, but working hours in hospitality can include evenings, weekends and holidays. Foreign nationals generally need an employment visa sponsored by an employer before starting work, while eligibility depends on qualifications, experience and a confirmed job offer. Candidates should verify visa, insurance, housing and contract details directly with Shangri-La and Hong Kong authorities.
