Telephone Operator (Service Centre)

Job Description

The Telephone Operator supports the hotel’s Service Centre by answering and directing internal and external calls, handling guest requests, recording messages, and coordinating with relevant departments. Candidates should have a courteous telephone manner, clear spoken English, good listening and communication skills, and basic computer knowledge. Experience in hotel telecommunications, a call centre, or guest services is advantageous. The role requires professionalism, patience, accuracy, discretion, and the ability to remain calm while managing multiple calls and requests. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is normally expected in a 24-hour hotel operation.
