Job Description

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving deliveries, checking quantities and quality, storing food, beverages, operating supplies and equipment correctly, and issuing items to hotel departments. The role requires good inventory control, accurate record-keeping and adherence to food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards. Candidates should be organised, physically fit, dependable and comfortable handling stock in a fast-paced hotel environment. Previous experience in hotel stores, warehousing or inventory management is preferred. Basic computer skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with suppliers and internal departments are important. The candidate is expected to maintain clean, secure storage areas, monitor expiry dates, support stock counts and report shortages or damaged goods promptly.
