Company Info

Shangri-La is a globally recognized luxury hospitality group founded in Hong Kong, operating hotels, resorts, residences, and related businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, and other international markets. Its Philippine properties are known for upscale accommodation, restaurants, wellness facilities, attentive service, and extensive business and leisure amenities. The group places strong emphasis on warm Asian hospitality, high service standards, guest satisfaction, employee development, and responsible business practices. Depending on the property, a Multimedia Artist may support brand communications, digital marketing, social media, promotions, internal campaigns, events, and collateral production. Working for Shangri-La can provide exposure to an international hotel brand, structured operating procedures, cross-department collaboration, and opportunities to build a creative portfolio within the luxury travel and hospitality sector.

Destination Guide

The Philippines offers creative and hospitality opportunities in Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, Davao, and other tourism centers. Multimedia professionals can find work with hotels, resorts, agencies, media companies, retail brands, events, and online businesses, although salaries vary by city and experience. Filipino culture is generally welcoming, family-oriented, and community-focused, with English widely used in workplaces. Island life can offer warm weather, beaches, outdoor activities, and a relaxed social atmosphere, but transport, internet reliability, healthcare access, and typhoon disruption vary by location. Foreign employees normally need employer sponsorship and the appropriate work permit or visa; requirements should be confirmed with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration and the employer. Relocation planning should include accommodation, health insurance, taxes, local transport, and banking. Manila provides the broadest career market, while resort islands offer a more scenic lifestyle but fewer year-round opportunities.
