Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah, with major hotel and tourism opportunities. Hospitality jobs are widely available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, catering, and attractions, especially for candidates with English skills and international service experience. The culture is multicultural and generally welcoming, while Islamic customs should be respected, including modest dress in public places and local practices during Ramadan. Lifestyle varies from busy city living to quieter coastal communities, with excellent shopping, beaches, transport, and healthcare. Employees normally need an employer-sponsored work visa, residence permit, medical screening, and Emirates ID. Employers commonly arrange visa costs and may provide accommodation, meals, transport, insurance, and annual airfare. Confirm these benefits, working hours, probation terms, and contract conditions before relocating.
