Audio Visual Technician

Job Description

The Audio Visual Technician supports Shangri-La Singapore’s meetings, conferences, banquets and other events by setting up, operating and dismantling sound, lighting, video and presentation equipment. Requirements typically include relevant technical training or hotel/event AV experience, knowledge of microphones, mixers, projectors, LED screens and basic troubleshooting, plus good communication skills. The successful candidate is expected to provide reliable guest service, respond quickly to technical issues, maintain equipment safely, coordinate with event and hotel teams, and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to remain calm during live events are essential.
