Job Description

The Retail Consultant represents Optus in a retail store, helping customers choose mobile, internet, entertainment and device products. Requirements typically include customer service or retail sales experience, strong communication skills, confidence using digital systems, and the ability to work toward sales and service targets. The successful candidate is expected to create a welcoming store experience, understand customer needs, explain products clearly, process transactions accurately and support merchandising and store operations. Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varying shifts is generally required. Experience in telecommunications is useful but not always essential, as product and sales training is usually provided.
