Headquartered in Makati City, it provides a broad range of services to individuals, businesses, corporations, and institutional clients. These include deposits, consumer lending, credit cards, payments, investment banking, treasury, wealth management, insurance, and digital banking. BDO operates an extensive branch, ATM, and electronic banking network across the country, supported by substantial corporate and commercial banking capabilities. The bank is known for its wide market reach, significant customer base, and continued investment in technology and financial inclusion. Destination Guide

The Philippines offers banking, technology, shared-services, tourism, healthcare, education, and logistics opportunities, with many professional roles concentrated in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Clark. Makati and nearby business districts provide the broadest career market but have higher housing and commuting costs. Filipino culture is generally welcoming, family-oriented, English-friendly, and relationship-driven; respectful communication and adaptability are valued at work. Lifestyle options range from busy urban living to beach, mountain, and island communities in destinations such as Palawan, Boracay, Bohol, and Siargao. Foreign nationals normally need an employer-sponsored work visa or permit, commonly involving a 9(g) pre-arranged employee visa and an Alien Employment Permit; requirements can change, so confirmation with the employer and Philippine authorities is essential. Relocating employees should budget for housing, transport, healthcare, typhoon disruption, and regional travel.
