Job Description

The Duty Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the safe, effective and efficient operation of the pharmacy within Tesco’s Eston store. Requirements typically include a GPhC-registered pharmacist qualification, legal eligibility to practise in the UK, strong clinical knowledge and relevant pharmacy management experience. The successful candidate will lead and support the pharmacy team, provide high-quality patient care, manage prescriptions and medicines safely, maintain regulatory and company standards, and contribute to commercial performance. Tesco expects excellent communication, customer-service and leadership skills, sound professional judgement, accurate record keeping and a commitment to safeguarding patients. This is a part-time role, so flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, is likely to be required.
