NCG Supervisor (South Asia Hub)

Singapore DHL SGD 4,000–6,500 per month*
Job Description

The NCG Supervisor supports DHL’s South Asia hub operations by coordinating network movements, monitoring shipment flows, managing operational disruptions and ensuring service performance across countries and transport partners. Candidates are generally expected to have experience in logistics, express operations, airfreight or control-room environments, along with strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with shipment systems, operational reporting and performance targets is useful. The role may require shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays, because hub operations run continuously. DHL will expect a safety-conscious, customer-focused supervisor who can make timely decisions, lead colleagues effectively and work comfortably in a fast-paced, international environment.

It provides express parcel delivery, air and ocean freight, road transportation, contract logistics, warehousing, customs support and specialist supply-chain services. DHL is part of DHL Group, whose businesses include DHL Express, DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Supply Chain and DHL eCommerce. Singapore is an important regional logistics and aviation centre, making it a significant location for DHL’s Asia-Pacific network. Employees often work with multinational teams and customers across borders. Specific pay and benefits vary according to business division, experience, shift pattern and employment terms.

Destination Guide

Singapore is a compact island city-state and one of Asia’s strongest centres for logistics, aviation, technology, finance and regional headquarters. Job opportunities are particularly good in supply-chain management, freight forwarding, warehouse operations, transport control, engineering, healthcare, IT and professional services. The culture is multicultural, efficient and generally English-speaking, with Chinese, Malay, Indian and international influences. Lifestyle is safe and convenient, although housing, childcare and dining in central areas can be expensive. Public transport is excellent, and most places are easily reached by MRT or bus. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored work pass; supervisors may qualify for an Employment Pass or S Pass depending on salary, qualifications and current government criteria. Before relocating, confirm the offer, pass eligibility, medical requirements and benefits. Popular residential areas include Tampines, Jurong East, Woodlands and Punggol, often offering better value than the city centre.
