Job Description

The Payroll Analyst supports accurate and timely payroll processing for employees, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, company policies, tax rules and pension requirements. Responsibilities typically include checking payroll data, reconciling reports, investigating discrepancies, responding to employee queries, maintaining records and supporting payroll audits and process improvements. Candidates are expected to have practical payroll experience, strong attention to detail and confidence working with confidential information. Knowledge of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, National Insurance and workplace pensions is valuable. Experience with payroll systems, spreadsheets and data analysis is normally required, along with good communication skills, reliability and the ability to meet strict monthly deadlines.
