Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi offering the largest hospitality job markets. Opportunities are widely available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, airlines, events, and tourism, particularly for candidates with customer-service experience and strong English. UAE culture blends Islamic traditions with a highly international lifestyle; modest dress, respectful behavior, and awareness of local customs are important. Dubai offers modern housing, public transport, shopping, beaches, and extensive entertainment, although rent and summer temperatures can be high. Most overseas employees require an employer-sponsored residence visa and work permit. Employers commonly arrange medical testing, Emirates ID processing, and sometimes accommodation, meals, transport, or flights. Before relocating, confirm the full contract, benefits, probation terms, working hours, and recruitment fees. Keep copies of your passport and employment documents, and use only legitimate recruitment channels.
