Company Info

Lampung Marriott Resort & Spa is a Marriott International hospitality property in Lampung, southern Sumatra, Indonesia. The resort is designed to serve leisure travelers, families, business guests, events, and destination visitors, with accommodation, food and beverage outlets, meeting facilities, and spa or recreation services. As part of the Marriott portfolio, the property is expected to follow internationally recognized standards for guest service, brand presentation, safety, responsible operations, and employee development. Team members typically work in a multicultural environment and may receive benefits such as meals, uniforms, training, accommodation support, service charge participation, or other allowances depending on the employment package. The resort offers hospitality professionals an opportunity to build experience with a global hotel company while working in a developing Indonesian destination.

Destination Guide

Lampung is on Sumatra, Indonesia’s large western island, known for beaches, national parks, coffee, and access to destinations such as Way Kambas and the Krakatau area. Hospitality opportunities are available in resorts, hotels, restaurants, tourism, events, and transport, while larger cities offer roles in retail, education, healthcare, and business services. Indonesian culture values community, respect, family, and religious diversity; modest dress and polite communication are appreciated. Lifestyle costs can be lower than in Bali or Jakarta, although transport and imported goods may cost more in resort areas. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate stay visa, arranged before starting work; requirements can change, so confirm details with Marriott and Indonesian immigration. Relocating staff should budget for housing, insurance, transport, and documentation, and learn basic Bahasa Indonesia for daily life.
