Destination Guide

Malaysia offers hospitality opportunities in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Johor and other tourism centers. Jobs are available in hotels, restaurants, resorts, housekeeping, food and beverage, wellness and guest services. The country blends Malay, Chinese, Indian and indigenous cultures, with diverse food, festivals and generally welcoming communities. Lifestyle costs are moderate, although central Kuala Lumpur and popular islands can be more expensive. Malaysia is tropical, with warm weather, monsoon seasons and excellent beaches, rainforests and city attractions. Putrajaya is not an island; it is a planned administrative city near Kuala Lumpur, with modern architecture, parks and lakes. Foreign workers normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and must meet immigration and sector requirements before starting work. Employers generally assist with applications, medical checks and relocation guidance. Candidates should confirm accommodation, transport, contract terms, benefits and visa sponsorship directly with the hotel.
