Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island, but it is a popular Gulf destination offering strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, aviation, retail, events, finance, technology, and construction. Dubai provides a fast-paced, international lifestyle with modern housing, beaches, shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and excellent transport, while Abu Dhabi is generally calmer and more family-oriented. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large expatriate community; modest dress in public places, respect for religion, and awareness of local laws are important. Most overseas employees require employer-sponsored residence and work visas. Employers commonly arrange visa processing, medical testing, Emirates ID registration, and sometimes accommodation, transport, meals, or health insurance. Candidates should confirm salary, commission, accommodation, annual leave, flights, probation, and relocation costs before accepting. Living expenses, especially rent, can be high in Dubai, so benefits and housing support significantly affect the overall package.
