Destination Guide

The United Arab Emirates is not an island but a federation of seven emirates, including Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah. Hospitality, tourism, construction, engineering, aviation, retail, healthcare, and technology provide many employment opportunities. The culture blends Emirati traditions with a large international workforce; modest dress, respectful behavior, and awareness of Islamic customs are important. Ras Al Khaimah offers a quieter lifestyle than Dubai, with beaches, mountains, desert activities, and lower living costs, while resort jobs often include accommodation and transport. Employers normally sponsor work visas, residence permits, medical checks, and Emirates ID processing for overseas hires. Candidates should verify the written offer, benefits, probation terms, recruitment fees, and contract before traveling. Summers are extremely hot, and work may involve shifts. International airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah support relocation and travel.
