Reservations Agent

Job Description

The Reservations Agent manages room bookings, amendments, cancellations and guest enquiries through telephone, email and reservation systems. Candidates should have hotel reservations or front-office experience, strong English communication skills, good computer knowledge and familiarity with Opera or similar systems. Arabic and other languages are advantageous. The role requires accuracy, professional telephone etiquette, knowledge of room types, rates and hotel facilities, and the ability to meet booking and revenue targets. The successful candidate is expected to provide warm, efficient service, promote upgrades and hotel services, maintain accurate records, coordinate with Front Office and Sales, and remain calm while handling high enquiry volumes. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally required.
