Job Description

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distributing hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry. Requirements typically include previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience, basic knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. The successful candidate should maintain high hygiene standards, handle fabrics carefully, follow safety procedures, meet quality and productivity targets, and work cooperatively with housekeeping and other hotel departments. Good communication, reliability, punctuality, and a professional appearance are expected. Training may be provided for candidates with limited experience.
