Company Info

Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is a luxury beachfront resort located on Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, between Nadi and Lautoka. It is part of Marriott International, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, operating hotels and resorts across numerous countries and recognized brands. The resort offers lagoon-view accommodation, restaurants and bars, spa services, pools, water activities, family facilities and conference or event spaces. Its team serves international leisure travelers, families, couples and groups while reflecting Fiji’s warm hospitality and local culture. Employees generally work in a multicultural environment with opportunities to build experience in guest services, food and beverage, recreation, housekeeping and other hotel departments. Benefits may include staff meals, uniforms, training, service-charge participation and assistance with accommodation, depending on the contract and position.

Destination Guide

Fiji offers hospitality, tourism, food service, retail, marine activities, construction, healthcare and education opportunities, particularly around Nadi, Denarau, Suva, Lautoka and Coral Coast resorts. The culture is welcoming and community-minded, with strong iTaukei traditions, Indo-Fijian heritage, church life and family connections. Expect a relaxed tropical lifestyle, warm weather, beaches, outdoor activities and a slower pace, although imported goods and housing can be expensive. English is widely used, while Fijian and Fiji Hindi are also common. Foreign workers normally need an employer-supported work permit before starting employment; requirements vary by nationality and contract, so confirm details with the employer and Fiji immigration authorities. Relocating staff should budget for flights, deposits, transport and initial living expenses, and check whether accommodation, meals, insurance and airport transfers are included. Respect local customs, dress modestly in villages and learn basic Fijian greetings.
