Job Description

The Storeperson manages hotel deliveries, receiving, storage and distribution of food, beverages, operating supplies and equipment. Responsibilities typically include checking deliveries against purchase orders, recording stock, maintaining organised and secure storerooms, rotating inventory, completing stocktakes and supplying departments promptly. Candidates should have good organisation, numeracy and communication skills, attention to detail, physical fitness for lifting and moving goods, and the ability to work safely in a busy hotel environment. Previous experience in hotel stores, warehousing, hospitality or inventory control is preferred. A forklift licence may be advantageous, while reliable teamwork, flexibility, basic computer skills and a professional attitude are expected.
