Company Info

EY, or Ernst & Young, is a global professional services organization providing assurance, tax, consulting, and strategy and transactions services. Its Global Delivery Services teams support EY offices and clients worldwide through capabilities in technology consulting, analytics, cybersecurity, finance, business transformation, and enterprise applications. In the Philippines, EY maintains significant delivery operations, including offices and teams in Metro Manila, serving international engagements across multiple industries. EY consultants commonly work with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Power Platform to improve business processes and digital capabilities. The organization emphasizes integrity, collaboration, inclusiveness, professional development, and technology-enabled transformation. Employees may work with multinational clients and distributed teams, gaining exposure to varied projects, industries, and delivery methods. Compensation and benefits depend on experience, qualifications, level, and the specific Philippine employment arrangement.

Destination Guide

The Philippines offers strong opportunities in IT consulting, software development, shared services, finance, customer support, and digital transformation, especially in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Clark. English is widely used in business, and workplace culture generally values teamwork, respect for seniority, relationship-building, and adaptability. Manila provides the broadest career market but has heavy traffic and higher living costs; Cebu offers a more relaxed urban lifestyle, while other islands provide beaches, nature, and lower daily expenses. Housing, transport, healthcare, and utilities should be considered when comparing offers. Foreign professionals normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa, commonly an Alien Employment Permit together with a 9(g) working visa; requirements can change, so official Philippine immigration guidance is essential. Employees should confirm tax, relocation, insurance, and remote-work arrangements with EY before moving. Filipino hospitality is warm, though tropical weather and seasonal typhoons require practical planning.
