Company Info

Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers substantial opportunities for nurses, paramedics and advanced clinical practitioners through the NHS, GP practices, primary care networks and private healthcare providers. Its culture is diverse and generally welcoming, with a strong emphasis on professional registration, safeguarding and evidence-based practice. Kent provides coastal towns, countryside, historic sites and relatively good links to London, although housing costs vary considerably. Public transport is widely available, and the lifestyle combines urban amenities with access to beaches and rural areas. Overseas professionals normally need the relevant NMC or HCPC registration, an eligible job offer and permission to work. Registered nurses may qualify for the Health and Care Worker visa if the employer is an approved sponsor; sponsorship for other roles depends on the occupation and employer. Candidates should check registration, English-language and visa requirements before relocating.
