Company Info

Akari Care Limited is a UK-based provider of residential and nursing care for older people, including individuals living with dementia and complex care needs. The organisation operates care homes in several regions of England and focuses on creating safe, comfortable and supportive environments for residents. Its services typically combine personal care, nursing support, activities, wellbeing programmes and assistance with daily living. Care-home teams include nurses, care assistants, hospitality staff, administrators, maintenance colleagues and managers. Akari places importance on person-centred care, dignity, respect and maintaining residents’ independence wherever possible. Home Administrators contribute behind the scenes by helping the home remain organised, financially controlled and compliant, while supporting staff, residents and families. As with any care provider, specific benefits, training opportunities and working arrangements may vary by home and vacancy.

Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers employment opportunities across healthcare, social care, administration, technology, finance, education, construction and hospitality. Its culture is diverse, generally polite and informal, with strong traditions in sport, music, history and regional identity. Lifestyle varies considerably: London and other major cities are busy and expensive, while smaller towns and rural areas offer quieter living and often lower housing costs. Public transport is widely available, although a car may be useful for care-home roles outside cities. Overseas applicants normally need the appropriate visa and employer sponsorship where required; eligibility depends on the occupation, salary and current UK immigration rules. Health and care workers may have specific routes, but administrative positions do not always qualify for sponsorship. Candidates should check GOV.UK requirements, confirm sponsorship with the employer and budget for accommodation, healthcare-related charges and relocation costs.
