Job Description

The Securities & Derivatives Analyst supports the processing and control of securities and derivative transactions across their lifecycle. Typical responsibilities include trade capture, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, investigating breaks, handling corporate actions, monitoring risk and meeting client or regulatory deadlines. Candidates are generally expected to have a degree or relevant experience in finance, business, economics or operations, together with strong attention to detail and numerical ability. Knowledge of securities, derivatives, financial markets and transaction-processing systems is beneficial. Citi will also expect clear communication, teamwork, sound judgment, problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a controlled, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with Excel and a willingness to learn operational and regulatory procedures are commonly required.
