Job Description

The Public Sector Head, Asia is expected to lead Citi’s public-sector banking coverage across the region, developing relationships with governments, sovereign entities, central banks, state-owned corporations and multilateral institutions. Requirements typically include extensive experience in public-sector, corporate or institutional banking; strong knowledge of government finance and capital markets; proven leadership across Asian markets; and an established senior client network. The candidate should be comfortable managing complex, cross-border transactions, coordinating product specialists, identifying growth opportunities and maintaining high standards of risk, compliance and conduct. Strong strategic thinking, communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills are essential, together with the ability to work across cultures and influence senior internal and external decision-makers.
