Job Description

The Markets Business Risk Analyst supports Citi’s markets businesses by identifying, assessing, and monitoring operational, regulatory, and business risks. Typical requirements include a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related field; analytical and problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication; attention to detail; and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience in risk management, controls, audit, markets operations, or financial services is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to review risk indicators, investigate issues, maintain governance documentation, support control testing and remediation, prepare management reports, and work effectively with global stakeholders. The role also requires sound judgment, integrity, organization, and the ability to manage deadlines in a regulated, fast-paced environment.
