The Cargo Agent will support cargo handling activities at Dubai World Central (DWC), including accepting shipments, checking documentation, preparing cargo for transportation, updating systems, and coordinating with customers, warehouse teams, airlines, and government authorities. Candidates are generally expected to have secondary education, good spoken and written English, basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach. Previous experience in cargo, freight forwarding, airport operations, logistics, or warehousing is advantageous. The role requires physical fitness, safe handling practices, accuracy under time pressure, and willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Familiarity with cargo procedures, dangerous-goods awareness, and a valid UAE driving licence may be beneficial depending on assigned duties.
