Candidates should have previous experience in hotel reservations, front office or customer service, along with strong communication and computer skills. Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and excellent spoken and written English are typically required; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous. The role requires accuracy, commercial awareness and a professional telephone manner. The successful candidate is expected to respond promptly, maintain accurate records, promote room types and packages appropriately, protect guest confidentiality and deliver Shangri-La’s service standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is also expected.
