Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and daily operations at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Duties typically include monitoring entrances and surveillance systems, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, managing access control, preparing reports and supporting emergency procedures. Candidates should have relevant security or hospitality experience, good communication skills, sound judgment and a professional appearance. A valid Hong Kong security personnel permit, first-aid knowledge and Cantonese and English skills are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to remain alert, calm and courteous, work shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays, and handle confidential or sensitive situations responsibly.
